Unit 3: Geometry

In this unit you will learn how to calculate the area, volume and surface area of several regular and irregular shapes including; rectangles, squares, triangles and rectangular prisms. You will be using the coordinate plane to graph vertices to create shapes and develop the area formula which will be used throughout the entire unit. You will be working through real world problems involving the areas of geometry described in this unit.
