Unit 4: Mathematical Modeling

Overview

Throughout Unit 4, knowledge of mathematical procedures is utilized to model situations in context. Knowledge of the appropriateness of the model is developed as the cornerstone skills of creation, interpretation and analyzing are honed. An opportunity is created for the learner to cultivate an appreciation for and a deep understanding of the importance of mathematical modeling.
